5 axis waterjet cutter
2021 waterjet from Intermac, a renowned Italian manufacturer, with the very latest CAD software.
5 Axis technology with infinite rotating ‘C’ axis for mitered cutting +/- 60º.
Large format slabs can be cut upto 4000mm x 2000mm.
Benefit from years of experience and a committed team
Cuts virtually any material – Aluminium, copper, brass, steel, Dekton, marble, limestone, granite, quartz, glass, perspex, foam, rubber, carbon fibre, sintered ceramics, composites and many more.
Extremely accurate – cuts to within 0.2mm, and material thickness upto 200mm.

How waterjet cutting works
Waterjet cutting is quite simply a very high-powered jet of water that is directed at the material to be cut and the pressure of the jets cut through the object. The addition of garnet allows us to cut through virtually any type of material.
A computer is programmed with the exact coordinates of the shape to be cut, we can work from your DXF files or we can produce them for you. A millimetre jet of water is sent through the head of our 5 axis waterjet machine, allowing us to cut almost any shape including 3D shapes, leaving a high quality edge.
We can achieve different edge finishes depending on your requirement, slower cutting speeds produce a cleaner cut for precise engineering.
One of the most important factors of waterjet cutting over other cutting methods is the lack of physical heating in the material. Meaning no properties in the material are changed during cutting. When cutting metals and alloys this is a very important advantage as there is no heat deformation or warping.
As the jet of water is so strong, we can cut through materials up to 200mm in thickness.
